We Moved to New Orleans

We Moved to New Orleans

Life comes at us fast, but also sometimes slowly. I’ve always wanted to live in New Orleans since I went to school here so many years ago. With that said, I did not expect to be moving here so quickly.

As mentioned in a previous post, we came down here to visit and had a really great time. My wife had long enjoyed working at a Danny Meyer BBQ place in NYC, and got a great opportunity at Cochon. We went over all the pros and cons, and here we are new Neworleanians.

We are looking forward to taking part in and contributing to community events. I’ve already been enjoying the Lake Shore, the UNO gym, music on Frenchman Street, and SO MUCH FOOD.

Olie has been able to spend much of the summer here with me, and is enjoying great camps and cool time with dad. As they say in his favorite movie, Jurassic Park, “life finds a way”. In our case things just seemed to line up to bring us here, stay tuned for more from the 504.
